UPDATE 3/4/21 5:00 pm CT:
Afternoon update:
PrismHR has initiated access to the Manager Portal. Functionality is still limited. Currently, PrismHR has given clients the ability to access timesheets, submit and approve payrolls. For clients utilizing the TimeClock Plus app, PrismHR does not have the capabilities to pull those hours into the system. Your payroll specialist will assist in manually accessing that information for payroll processing.
PrismHR has not released access to the Employee Portal to ensure all systems are brought online in the most secure and stable manner possible.

UPDATE 3/2/21 12:30 pm CT:
As each update is received, we appreciate your continued patience and support as our vendor, PrismHR, diligently works to restore connectivity and bring the systems back online as soon as possible. Their teams have been working around the clock and have made significant progress since they detected suspicious activity on Sunday, February 28.
PrismHR has confirmed there was a cybersecurity incident that caused the system interruption. They have been able to remove that obstacle, and their teams are working methodically to ensure the integrity of the system and data.
Current Timeline:
- Understanding that PrismHR has identified the interruption has removed that threat and is in the progress of building the new environment from the backup systems, they expect the system and critical functions back up within the next few days.
- For this week, eESI will start initiating the backup plan for payroll production. We will distribute this plan to our clients this afternoon and prioritizing the current payroll obligations. Also, we will include helpful resources for administrative needs. Once we distribute the information and based on payroll timeline priorities, an eESI team member will contact each client for a follow-up.
We are dedicated to staying on top of this situation and committed to ensuring your employees receive their pay as timely and as accurately as possible.

UPDATE 3/2/21 8:00 am CT:
We appreciate your continued patience and support as our HRIS provider works to restore the connectivity and bring the systems back online as soon as possible. Their technical teams are working around the clock and pursuing every possible avenue to regain access.
As their teams go through extensive testing to ensure the interruption’s origination is corrected, the HRIS will not be available for use today. Although our vendor partner’s service challenges continue, your dedicated eESI team is working hard to ensure all standard processing will be completed. We will continue to keep you updated throughout this process.
Thank you,
eESI Management
UPDATE 3/1/21 12:30 pm CT:
We wanted to provide you with an update on the previous communication regarding the system interruption. Our HRIS provider has multiple internal and external teams working around the clock to restore operations. It is unlikely our provider will be able to restore the HRIS service today.
Our management team has already started arranging back-up solutions if this interruption is extended into Tuesday or beyond. Your dedicated account teams will keep communicating with the next steps based on your payroll and administrative compliance timelines.
We will continue to keep you updated on this page and through our Client Intel (email).
Thank you,
eESI Management Team
UPDATE 3/1/21 8am CT:
Our Human Resources Information System (HRIS) provider is currently experiencing a system interruption throughout their network. This disruption has already affected service into today’s business hours, and they do not have an estimated time of resolution.
Your account teams are available to resolve any time-sensitive inquiries that can be completed outside the HRIS. Also, they will document any outstanding items to follow up with you once the system interruption is resolved.
We apologize for the inconvenience this is causing everyone. We will continue to keep you updated on this page and through our Client Intel (email).
